Our up and down weather means that spring is just around the corner and that means early spring rains. Today’s video from the Building Wisconsin TV series shows How To Build A Rain Garden. Host Stuart Keith and guest Karen Sands from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District talk about the benefits of rain gardens to homeowners and the sewer system. This project also features Mid City Plumbing & Heating disconnecting a pre-1954 home’s drain tile system which was feeding rainwater into the sewer and directing that water into a sump pit and pumping it out into the yard.
