Here are your Monthly Home Maintenance Tips For February:

General walk through: Check for water leaks, missing shingles. Check weatherstripping on windows and doors.

Change/clean air filter in furnace. Check temperature and pressure gauges if you have a system with a boiler.

Check/add salt to water softener. Check smoke and fire alarms.

Check roof along eaves and gutters during melts for ice build-up. Maintain proper drainage during melts.

Clean appliances: refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Check manuals for yearly maintenance.

Check interior caulking in bathrooms. Clean and re-caulk where necessary with silicone based bathroom caulk.
