My husband and I are wanting to build a second garage to give us some more space, but we don’t know the what to look when we have the automatic garage door put in. It’s good to know that when we put one in that we need to check to make sure that it will meet local building and electrical codes, hopefully the company putting it in will know what those are but it can’t hurt for us to know as well. I think a good idea too is to have a professional come out and look at the garage to see what type of automatic garage door would best fit the structure we have. Thanks for all the different insight!
